I am the author, with Udi Sommer, of The Emerging Republican Minorities: Racial and Ethnic Realignment in the Trump Era, to be published in January 2025 by Bloomsbury Academic.

Broadly defined, I am interested in minority political behavior, populism, and their intersection, with a geographical focus on the United States. I also lead research projects concerning minorities, immigration, and political behavior in Latin America and the Middle East. My research has appeared in the European Political Science Review and Groups, Politics, and Identities, and has been covered by major public outlets, such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Axios.

Being a member of the LGBTQ+ community in the growingly conservative Israel, I see my scholarly mission of studying minority politics not only through mere academic lenses, but also personal ones. I believe social scientists have the potential to lead real positive changes in their communities.
Within and outside academic circles, I have long been an advocate for peace between Israelis and Palestinians. Currently, I am taking a key role in "TAMRUR"—A Reichman University-affiliated project committed to the advancement of peace in the region. In this project, we provide scholars, journalists, policy makers, diplomats, and other stakeholders with dynamic and up-to-date information on the complex interplay of attitudes, emotions, and behaviors underlying this horrendous conflict.

I hold a BA in political science and American studies, both majors magna cum laude, and an MA in political science, also magna cum laude, from Tel Aviv University. During my BA years, I visited Northwestern University as an exchange student (GPA 3.85), where I received my primary knowledge in the politics of African American, Latino, and Asian American voters.
